Welcome to "The Pride of Morehead"

​

As the largest and most dynamic organization on campus, The Morehead High School Band proudly represents 10% to 12% of the student body each year. Known affectionately across the community as "The Pride of Morehead," our program is dedicated to musical excellence, showmanship, and school spirit.

Serving as official performance ambassadors for Morehead High School and the City of Eden, the band maintains an energetic, high-profile performance calendar. Highlights include four featured appearances in the prestigious Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade in Charlotte, NC, along with regional and national showcase performances across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

Membership in the Marching Band is open to all Morehead High School students, as well as rising 8th graders enrolled in the Holmes Middle School Band program.

Beyond our outstanding instrumental corps, students can shine on the field and street by joining one of our vibrant auxiliary units:
